John Laios was born in Greece in 1980. His love for the music came along with the first disco tracks he listened to (Barrie White, Donna Summer, Chick etc.) and slowly passed on to house music.
He started his career in 1996 as a radio producer at Star FM 97.3 with his radio show “Beatin Sundays”. After that, he performed as a Resident Dj in many clubs around Greece (Prive Club- 1999, Cream Club-2001, Momo’s Club-2003, Enzzo Club-2007). He cooperated with various Greek Djs (George Siras, CJ Jeff, Akyllas, Miss lefki, Mikele, Agent Greg etc.) and international ones for the warm up sets as a resident Dj (Mass Collective, Sandy Rivera, Martin Solveig, Satoshi Tommie, Kevin Yost etc.)
His uplifting sets of house, tech house and progressive house music are amplified by filters, acapellas and various effects. His unique style and technique led to a series of gigs all around Greece while at the same time he created the “Winter Music Festival” which consisted of a number of parties in 10 ski resorts in Greece with famous Djs, sponsored by Gordon’s Space.
His first personal production “Finetunes” was released in 2001. The second personal production “Style Beating” followed in 2005, while right now he is working on his next production in cooperation with Dj Royal K (Akis Karekas), which will be released soon.
In 2008 another innovation for Greece started by John Laios and his good friend Rodrigo Medrano from Aroma Cariba band presenting dj sets with live percussion & sample fx sets.
In 2010, his infinite energy and his love for the music led to another musical project, “House Therapy Sessions”, a two-hour radio show, which is broadcasted weekly to more than 20 radio stations worldwide and is combined with a number of gigs all over Greece. “House Therapy Sessions” team consists of John Laios and Maria Topalidou.
